The simplest piece in the Woodlyn footwear collection. A single solid slab of hardwood forms the sole, hand-shaped into an elongated silhouette and finished only enough to bring out the natural depth of the grain.
Across the top of the foot, a wide band of hand-woven rattan cane forms the strap — tightly woven, naturally breathable, and finished at the edges with printed fabric binding that softens gently against the skin. There are no joints in the sole. No layered panels. No unnecessary construction.
One piece of wood, one piece of cane, an open toe, and the quiet pleasure of natural fibre resting against natural wood. The kind of simplicity that only works when the materials are good enough to stand on their own.
