Woodlyn is a design-led brand creating handcrafted bags and shoes using wood, vegan leather, cork, and natural fibres. Each product is built for structure, durability, and everyday use—combining Italian design precision with Indian craftsmanship.
Our Story
Woodlyn was created with a simple question: what if the bags and shoes we carry every day were designed with true intention?
The idea began in Italy, within a design environment shaped by precision and constraint—where materials are chosen carefully, and every element must serve a purpose. This approach focuses on structure, durability, and balance.
That thinking evolved in India, where craftsmanship is guided by experience and intuition. Skilled artisans work with wood, rattan, cork, and natural fibres—shaping each material based on its properties, not forcing it into uniformity.
Woodlyn exists at the intersection of these two worlds—combining modern design principles with handcrafted techniques.
Each product is made using materials such as:

About the Founder
Maneesh Shukla founded Woodlyn with a deep understanding of working with wood and natural materials.
Over the years, his experience focused on how materials behave—how wood responds to pressure, how finishes impact durability, and how handcrafted processes influence the final product.
Woodlyn was built to move away from mass-produced, interchangeable products and instead focus on creating fewer, better-designed bags and shoes.
The goal is not scale, but quality—ensuring every product reflects thoughtful design, durable construction, and material integrity.
