A wooden frame.
That became a bag.
A square, structured unisex shoulder bag built from the edges inward. A wood frame runs along the side spines, holding the soft leather body in place through hand-cut window-loops. The Frame is named for what it is. A wooden frame that became a bag.
The body is crafted in hand-tumbled vegan leather with a natural grain and soft structure. Solid Canadian cedar wood runs the full length of both side spines, with cutout windows hand-finished directly through the wood. The shoulder strap wraps around the bag and threads through these cedar frames, looping in and out the way a strap on a leather-bound book might.
The closure is structural, not decorative. The frame holds the strap. The strap holds the bag. At the lower corner sits a studio-developed three-tile ceramic plaque, placed quietly like a signature rather than a logo.
Designed for the architectural minimalist. The person who has graduated to objects that earn their place by being thought about, not by being decorated.
