The sole is shaped from horizontal hardwood tiles linked one to the next, articulating gently with the foot through every step the way a wooden floor moves quietly under weight. The cross strap is built from the same wood in shorter vertical sections, each piece aligned to reveal the natural variation of the grain rather than conceal it.
